It's a beautiful spring day. Maria wakes up early feeling happy. She knows that it is a nice day because she can smell the flowers. She can feel the soft warmth of the sun and can hear the birds singing.
Maria cannot see the spring day, she can't see the lovely flowers, or the blue sky. She can't see the new green leaves on the trees. She cannot see the colours because she is visually impaired. She has been visually impaired since birth.
But Maria is happy. She goes to a school where she is learning to read using the Braille. Braille is a kind of script in which the words are written in raised dots. Maria is learning to read by touching the raised dots with her fingers. She loves to go to school. Maria's teacher says that she is a quick learner.
Maria has a dream. She wants to get the highest education from a university. Then she wants to set up a school of her own. She has another dream too. She wants to be a writer. When she grows up she wants to write a book about her feeling and experiences.

There are many birds found in our country. Birds have feathers. They have wings and most of them can fly. The penguin and the ostrich are two of the few birds which cannot fly. They aren't found in Bangladesh. The humming birds are the smallest birds in the world. They are not found in Bangladesh.
The crow, the sparrow, the doel, the shalik, the kingfisher are the common birds of Bangladesh. We also see cuckoo in the spring. Its voice is very sweet. That's why people like and love this bird most. Parrots and mynah birds can talk. People keep these birds as pets. They keep them in cages. Birds are not happy in cages.
Birds are warm blooded. Most birds are very light. Their bodies are shaped like aeroplanes. Birds have strong wing and chest muscles and very light hollow bones. These help the birds fly.
After a male and female bird mate, they build a nest. Birds build their nests in all kinds of places. Usually, the nests are high up in trees. Some birds, sparrows, build their nests in walls and cliffs. The cuckoo does not build a nest. The female cuckoo lays her eggs in crow's nest.
Most birds lay two or three eggs. Eggs have to be kept warm, so one of the birds sits on them. Soon the baby birds hatch. The chicks are usually blind and bald. They have to be fed by the adult birds.

They are very nice to see. Some sing sweetly. You will be happy if you see birds. Our Bangladesh is a good house for the birds. I like to pet birds.

13.                                                Liberation War Museum
        We planned to make a visit to a historical place. Our teachers agreed and we select the liberation war museum to go. The liberation war museum is situated at Segunbagicha, Dhaka. On 14 October our class went on a field trip to the liberation war museum. We arrived the museum at 10 am. Our class teacher and some of my friends were with us. We visited the place because it is a place of historical importance and also a part of our Bangladesh and Global Studies subject. We looked different galleries and exhibited rare photographs, documents, newspaper clippings and objects used by the freedom fighters and the martyes of our liberation war. We left the museum at 12:30 pm. We gathered an experience on our liberation war. We also learnt about our independence. We would never forget this visit.

  1. Pros and Cons of Technology . We using every day both the pros and cons of technology. Technology makes our life better but there have some positive and negative impact of technology.
